2015 VERCE Training Events

Forward modelling and data intensive seismology using the VERCE platform

Two training events held in June (Bertinoro, Italy) and July (Liverpool, UK) gave an overview the computational resources that VERCE supports. The aim of these training events was to give a hands on experience running full waveform models through the VERCE platform and using large data sets, so that these computationally intense methods can be incorporated into your research.

In these workshops we have,

More advanced users have been able to

A shorter introduction to the VERCE resources has been given at the TIDES training school.
  1. VERCE training at LRZ, Munich (Germany), 9th-11th March
Presentations available on the "Use VERCE" page.

  2. TIDES Training school, Bertinoro Italy, 1st-5th June
The VERCE tools have been presented in this general training event covering a wide range of aspects of time dependent seismology.
  3. VERCE summer school at the University of Liverpool, UK, 1st-3rd July Presentations available on the "Use VERCE" page.
